Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee disclosed on Wednesday that she was not given prior notice about the INDIA bloc meeting. Speaking to reporters at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport before her departure for North Bengal, Banerjee shared that she received a call from Rahul Gandhi informing her about the meeting.
"Day before yesterday, Rahulji phoned me and told me about the meeting," revealed Banerjee. She expressed that due to the lack of advance information, she had made other plans during that time. However, she reassured her commitment to attending future INDIA alliance meetings, stating, "we will be meeting shortly, whenever they decide."
